The skiing region Nassfeld is located in the south-west of Carinthia, directly on the border to Italy. 30 lifts (5 cable-cars, 4 6-seater chair-lifts, 4 4-seater chair-lifts, 17 T-bar lifts) carry up to 42,000 passengers per hour. Over 2,000 metres above sea level skiers and snowboarders can spread out over 110 kilometres of slopes at all levels of difficulty. 

Nassfeld is the most modern skiing area in Austria and also one of the most snow-certain skiing areas of the Alps.

The Natural Arena of Carinthia also offers lots of activities for non-skiers, like cross country skiing, ice-curling, tobogganing, horse drawn sleighs etc…
